Kneer. “He did exactly what he wanted to
do and we knew he could do it – I expect to
see him place at NCS. As for Erikson, that
was the best I’ve ever seen him swim. He’s a
great swimmer and I’m very proud of him.
Making NCS as an automatic was huge for
him – he’d fl irted with it the last two years
and he fi nally got it.”
The Heritage boys team took third
overall, fi nishing with 228 points. De La
Salle fi nished fi rst in its fi nal year of BVAL

The Liberty girls team fi nished second

“I was very proud when I saw what the
scores were. I knew we’d qualifi ed a lot of
kids into the fi nals, but we qualifi ed even
more than I thought we would,” said Liberty
head coach Erica Pantle. “I thought
we’d get four girls in the top 16 in several
events, but several of them stepped up and
did really well and got into the fi nals, and
that helped with the scoring situation for
sure.”
