activity reported by East County police
departments.
BRENTWOOD
Sept. 23, 12:20 p.m. An unidentifi ed person
forced entry into a residence on Autumn Valley
Way and stole cash.
Sept. 23, 1:11 p.m. On Armstrong Way, two
subjects got into a verbal altercation regarding
their relationship choices.
Sept. 23, 4:19 p.m. An unidentifi ed person
used the Social Security number of a resident
of Central Boulevard for the purpose of the
gaining employment.
Sept. 23, 7:31 p.m. At a business on Lone Tree
Way, a subject was placed under citizen’s arrest
for stealing from her place of work. She
was released on a Promise To Appear.
Sept. 24, 7:57 a.m. A vehicle was stolen from
the garage of a residence on Cambrian Place.
Sept. 24, 2:23 p.m. On Sellers Avenue, an unidentifi
ed person brandished a gun during a
road-rage incident.
Sept. 24, 3:01 p.m. An unidentifi ed person entered
a bank on Balfour Road and used a note
to get money.
Sept. 24, 10:06 p.m. An unidentifi ed person
took landscaping equipment from a trailer
parked on Nancy Street.
Sept. 24, 10:49 p.m. A subject sitting on a
curb on Broderick Drive was found to be unable
to care for himself due to his level of intoxication.
He was arrested and taken to the
Martinez Detention Facility.
Sept. 25, 9:51 a.m. An unidentifi ed person
made harassing phone calls to a resident of
Brentwood Boulevard.
Sept. 25, 10:14 a.m. Large garbage bags containing
suspected marijuana were dumped on
Buena Vista Drive.
Sept. 25, 1:59 p.m. An unidentifi ed person
removed a window screen and blinds from
the front window of a residence on Pistachio
Court.
Sept. 26, 7:31 a.m. On Brentwood Boulevard,
a driver was placed under citizen’s arrest after
leaving the scene of a property-damage collision.
He was released on a Notice To Appear.
Sept. 26, 4:33 p.m. A subject lying in cactus
bushes along Brentwood Boulevard was
found to be too intoxicated to care for himself.
He was arrested and transported to Contra
Costa Regional Medical Center for treatment
of alcohol poisoning.
Sept. 26, 10:24 p.m. An unidentifi ed person
stole a bicycle from a residence on American
Avenue.
Sept. 27, 12:23 a.m. On Brentwood Boulevard,
a subject was found to be intoxicated,
in violation of the terms of his probation. He
was arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention
Facility.
Sept. 27, 10:21 a.m. The California Highway
Patrol found an abandoned vehicle in an apple
orchard off Byron Highway. The vehicle was
towed, and shortly thereafter reported stolen
by its owner, who recovered it.
Sept. 28, 1:26 a.m. A subject under house arrest
on Honeysuckle Street left his residence.
His whereabouts are unknown.
Sept. 28, 4:44 p.m. On Brentwood Boulevard,
a subject contacted for a known warrant for
his arrest was found to be in possession of
methamphetamine. He was arrested and taken
to the Martinez Detention Facility.
Sept. 28, 5:52 p.m. An unidentifi ed person
entered the unlocked garage of a residence on
Larkspur Court and stole tools.

ANTIOCH
Sept. 17 Offi cers responded to a fi ght involving
more than 30 juveniles at the Burger King
on Lone Tree Way. Upon offi cers’ arrival,
most of the crowd had dispersed; however,
one male juvenile rode his bike southbound
in the northbound lanes of the 5000 block of
Deer Valley Road, weaving between vehicles
in both lanes of traffi c. When an offi cer ordered
him to stop, he ignored the offi cer and
threw something onto the street. A traffi c offi
cer on motorcycle intercepted the juvenile
and attempted to detain him. The juvenile
struggled to get free, the offi cer was forced to
wrestle him to the ground, and he was taken
into custody. A large crowd of juveniles surrounded
the offi cer and another male juvenile
began yelling “M-O-B” and threatened the
offi cers with physical violence. The fi rst juvenile
was arrested for resisting arrest, was cited
and released to his parents. The second juvenile
was booked into Juvenile Hall for felony
threats against the offi cers.
Sept. 18 A male juvenile was walking to Wal-
Mart from his residence on Parkgreen Circle
when he was confronted by numerous subjects.
The victim was robbed and shot twice
as he fl ed. He was able to walk to the parking
lot of Wal-Mart, where he asked for help.
He was airlifted to John Muir Medical Center
for two gunshot wounds, one to his back and
one to his right tricep. The victim underwent
surgery for multiple organ damage, and as of
press time, is in a medically induced coma and
listed in serious but stable condition.
Sept. 19 Offi cers were called to a home on
Ashburton Drive, where a 48-year-old female
had overdosed on various pills. The victim’s
husband stated that when he found her, she
was not breathing. Upon arrival, offi cers immediately
began CPR. ConFire and AMR
arrived and also began life-saving efforts.

Sept. 23, 1:11 p.m.
She was transported to Sutter Delta Medical
Center, where she is listed in stable condition.
The woman has a history of numerous suicide
attempts and threats. According to an
ER doctor, she is alive due to the efforts of
the offi cers.
Sept. 19 Offi cers responded to Delta Bowl
on a report of a fi ght. Upon arrival, offi cers,
found an adult male (the apparent victim of
the fi ght) suffering from blunt-force trauma
to the head. He was uncooperative and spit
on offi cers as well as AMR personnel. The
man was transported to Sutter Delta Medical
Center for his injuries, where he still refused
to provide offi cers with information regarding
the fi ght.
Sept. 20 At least six fi re engines responded to
blaze on Devpar Court. The building housed
A&L Automotive and Templers Auto Body.
The fi re spread to the grass fi eld near the railroad
tracks north of the building, but was
soon contained. Due to the extensive damage,
investigators were unable to determine
the cause and origin of the fi re. The matter is
under investigation.
Sept. 21 A subject was reported to be harassing
customers at Lee’s Nails. The suspect, an
adult male, was taken into custody for public
intoxication. While an offi cer was walking the
suspect to a police vehicle, he began resisting
and broke free. The offi cer took him to the
ground, at which time he began kicking and
threatening the offi cer. It took four offi cers to
put him into the WRAP, after which he was
transported to Martinez Detention Facility.
The offi cer he struggled with sustained minor
abrasions to his right hand and knees.
Sept. 22 On West 20th Street, a 28-year-old
female driver backed into a 6-year-old boy.
She didn’t realize she had struck the boy until
a friend called her a few minutes later. The
mother of the boy had already taken him to
Sutter Delta Medical Center for treatment.
The driver was contacted at her house and
cooperated with police offi cers. As of press
time, the boy was still being tested for internal
injuries, but it appeared he sustained only
superfi cial abrasions on his face, arms and upper
body.
