Isaiah Chavez, who
was born at 6 a.m. at
Sutter Delta on April 29,
weighing in at a whopping
9 pounds, 5 ounces.
His proud parents are
Araceli and Octavio
Chavez of Antioch. We
would also like to wish
his Uncle Felix Cervantez,
seen holding his new
nephew, a very happy 21st birthday on July 26. Felix will be deployed soon to Afghanistan
and our prayers will go with him.
Engagement
Tino Reynoso and Nikki Magana were engaged July 6. Tino is
from Brentwood and graduated from Liberty High School. Nikki
lives in Antioch and graduated from Antioch High School. Their
wedding date set for Feb. 14, 2009 at Wine and Roses in Lodi.

Bradley and Linda Bowles of Oakley recently
celebrated their 45th wedding
anniversary. They were treated to a surprise
limousine ride and anniversary dinner
from their children, Tracy and Denise (Bowles)
Hunt of Oakley and Matt and Christy (Stone)
Bowles of Guerneville, along with their grandchildren
Emelia Hunt and Clayton Bowles.
Brad and Linda were married on July 6,
1963 in Reno. They lived and raised their children
in Martinez before moving to Oakley
10 years ago. Brad is retired from the Chevron
Refi nery in Richmond and Linda is retired
from Maui Pineapple Co. in Concord. They
enjoy their many travels in their motor home
and spending time with their grandchildren,
family and friends.
